International Member of ASPS. Member of ISAPS. Member of the Rhode Island Hospital-Brown University Alumni Association. Member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery (SICPRE), years 2001-2002, 2004-2005 and 2007-2008. National ESPRAS delegate for SICPRE since 2008. Member of the Education Council of ISAPS since 2010. ISAPS Visiting Professor (rhinoseptoplasty) since 2013. Founding Member of the “The Rhinoplasty Society Europe” in May 2011 and Vice-President since April 2012.

Member of the Editorial Board of “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” concerning the subject “rhinoseptoplasty”. Life Member of the Board of Directors of the “ Fondazione Sanvenero Rosselli”, Milan, since 2007. Referee of the Italian Ministry of Health for the CME program for the Specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In the 60th National SICPRE 2011 Meeting he was elected President of the Italian Society for the term 2012-2013. Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery, Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo, Italy, from 1997 to present date.

Lecturer and live surgery demonstrator at the post-residency subspecialty “Master in Aesthetic Surgery” Courses of the Universities of Milano, Padova and Genova (topic: “open rhinoseptoplasty”). Author or co-author of over 350 papers and talks, on journals and at national and international meeting venues. (including 30 papers on international journals, 5 monographs and 5 book chapters). Moderator, Chairman, Panelist or Invited Speaker at many meetings concerning reconstructive or aesthetic surgery. Has organized 15 courses with live surgery.
