Kirill Pshenisnov

Kirill P. Pshenisnov, M.D. completed his postgraduate plastic surgery training in Yaroslavl Medical University in former USSR in 1989. In 1992 he defended his Ph.D. degree on the outcomes of free micro vascular free flap transfer in cases of trauma. In 1993 he served as the first Russian Visiting Scholar at the PSEF program (USA). From 1994 he is professor of plastic surgery at the traumatology teaching hospital in Yaroslavl, Russia. Since 1998 he is Professor of Plastic surgery Department at the Russian National Research Medical University in Moscow, from 2013 he holds the position of Chairman of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery clinic at the European Medical Center (Moscow). He is a founding member of the national Russian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, ESAPS committee member, as well as ISAPS and WSRM active member, ASPS international member. National secterary of ISAPS in Russian Federation. He is a part of the editorial boards in 5 plastic surgery journals including Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. Prof. Kirill Pshenisnov is an author of two monographs and 160 articles in Russian and international journals, contributor to 5 chapters in books. He developed new surgical procedures and invented several original rhinoplasty instruments.
