“ABSTRACTS CORNER PRIZE“

Deadline: February 14, 2022

Registered attendees are invited to send abstracts on the subject of open rhinoplasty.

A maximum of six abstracts will be chosen for a 4 min presentation within the “Selected Abstracts Corner” during the meeting. Each presentation will be followed by a brief discussion with moderators and audience.

The best three abstracts will be directly voted by the audience, and subsequently awarded with special prizes.

Submitted abstracts should concern:

  • innovations and new techniques
  • selected cases of significant value

Other topics will not be considered for acceptance.

“LUCA ORTELLI” VIDEO AWARD

Deadline: February 14, 2022

Registered attendees are invited to present a short video (4 min. max) about a specific technique, personal technical modification or innovation in rhinoplasty.

A maximum of six short videos will be chosen for 4 min. presentations each within the “Luca Ortelli” award during the meeting. This prize is in memory of our friend and colleague Luca Ortelli and his enthusiastic life-long devotion to rhinoplasty. Each video will be followed by a brief discussion with moderators and audience.

A prize will be awarded to the best two videos as directly voted by the audience.

“RSE AWARD“ (Annual Meeting of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe)

Deadline: February 14, 2022

RSE members who will attend in-person the Annual Meeting of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe are strongly invited to submit an abstract for session 1 “RSE members presentation and award”!

This should be a 6 minute presentation which can regard both clinical or basic science topics. Candidates have to be registered for the Meeting as well as be RSE members. Clinical papers should concern personal innovations, new techniques, and selected personal case-series of significant value  Basic Science papers should concern both lab-based and clinical research topics. Other topics will not be considered for acceptance. Each presentation cannot exceed 6 minutes duration and has to be in video format or include a portion of videoclips.

A jury composed of the RSE Education Committee, President and President-elect will evaluate submitted papers for acceptance.  The best presentation will be directly voted onsite by the same jury and will be awarded the specific prize of 2000 euros at the end of the day in the closing ceremony. The  best communication award will be assigned at the closing ceremony on the same day. Its abstract will subsequently be published on the RSE website.
