Tom Wang

Dr. Tom Wang is a facial plastic surgeon at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon.  Dr. Wang completed his medical education, internship in Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery all at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  Further subspecialty training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was completed at OHSU.

Dr. Wang then joined the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery before being recruited back to OHSU.  He is currently Professor and Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at OHSU.

Dr. Wang is past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and has served on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is widely published in the medical literature and is internationally recognized as an innovative teacher and leader on the latest techniques in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. He recently was the senior director of the successful AAFPRS Advances in Rhinoplasty congress held in Chicago.

In his spare time Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with his family, landscape photography, traveling, skiing, and chamber music.
