■ Lessons Learned in 30 Years of Structure Rhinoplasty

LEVEL

C – Advanced

CONTENTS

This presentation will focus on changes that I have made over the past 30 years to improve my rhinoplasty techniques. I will discuss how I made changes based on suboptimal outcomes that I noted with previously used methods. Functional outcomes will be covered as well. I will show how this progression has changed my approach to rhinoplasty and provided me with the skills necessary to manage more complex deformities. I will cover stabilizing the nasal base, management of the nasal tip and dealing with complex nasal deformities. I will show patient examples and videos demonstrating the techniques. My focus will be on long term follow up and how the nose can change dramatically over the patients lifetime as edema resolves and scar contracture occurs.

OBJECTIVES

  • Show how long term changes in the nose can dramatically effect nasal function and nasal aesthetics.
  • Demonstrate how I stabilize the nasal base.
  • Demonstrate how I manage the nasal tip.
  • Show how I manage complex nasal deformities
