OBJECTIVES
Tip aesthetics and tip function are intimately related. The tip of the nose must be designed for long term results that are both functional and aesthetically acceptable. To do this, the plastic surgeon must understand the functional anatomy of the nose. It is also necessary to know how to construct the tip using cartilage grafts and the native cartilage to best effect the proper result. This course will discuss the anatomy, function, and methods to construct the ideal tip for each nose.
