Dr. Enrico Robotti offers a position as International Fellow in rhinoplasty to a surgeon seeking direct and specific training in this field.
Preferred credentials are board certification/eligibility or documented prior training in Plastic or ENT surgery, as well as a strong interest in the field of primary and secondary rhinoseptoplasty.
Preferred duration is one year. Six months are however possible. Excellent command of English is required.
The Fellowship will be a one-to-one experience, including full exposure to a complete spectrum of primary and secondary rhinoplasty cases in Dr. Robotti’s private practice.
The Fellow is expected to attend and assist during surgeries and during patients follow-up, as well as contribute to scientific papers and participate when possible to meetings and other educational activities. Two clinical or research projects should be completed during the Fellowship and submitted for publication. The fellow will have at least one protected day per week to pursue the subject.
No salary or other funding is provided.
At the end of the Fellowship, the Fellow will have well understood and mastered the principles, multiple techniques, and pre-and postop management of contemporary primary and secondary rhinoseptoplasty, having been exposed to a wide and complete spectrum of cases, their analysis, treatment, and follow-up. This will include contemporary innovations in the field, such as new anatomy concepts, Preservation as well as Structural Rhinoplasty, and use of rib grafting techniques. At the end of the fellowship, he/she should have gained appropriate and sufficient experience to start a rhinoplasty practice in his/her country of origin.
