The unattractive nose can be associated with an unbalanced face. The deficient projection of the maxillary bone and of the mandible accentuate and the dimensions of the nose.
Micro-fat grafting and/or hyaluronic acid injections can be used in association with rhinoplasty or after it, to reshape the total face or the nose.
The detailed knowledge of the topographical anatomy of the fat compartments is mandatory, today, to understand their shape and distribution and to perform safe and effective treatments.
The percentage of fat engraftment is directly related to the thorough knowledge and the perfect understanding of the plane and site of deposition in relation with the fat compartments anatomy.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives, attending the masterclass, are:
- Learn how to associate micro-fat grafting with rhinoplasty obtaining a 3D profileplasty.
- (Analysing photos and videos of several cadavers dissection); Learn the fat compartments topographical anatomy, the axial vessels and nerves pathway; useful to perform micro-fat grafting and HA injections.
- Learn how to optimize the percentage of fat engraftment using harvesting and deposition micro cannulas and injecting in multiple plane into the superficial and deep fat compartments.
- Learn different techniques of injection using micro-fat vs hyaluronic acid.
- Learn the nose anatomy details useful to inject Hyaluronic acid and fat.
- Learn how to perform safe injections using needle or cannula in different planes and areas of the nose.
